Egli was born and raised in Athens. In 1987 she graduated the pottery school in Athens and afterwards she started working in her own workshop, creating artifacts that gave her recognition in the art of clay. She began building new decoration formulas and techniques that helped her to easily move between the archaic and the modern art. She serves the harmony of the earth colours and engraves with care and diligence the lines that made her famous as an artist.
She has participated in many individual and group exhibitions winning good reviews.
In 1996 she became member of the Greek Potters Association.
In 2001, in Faenza Italy, she represented Greek Potters in the Ceramic twinning cities forum.
Since 2000 she teaches the art of pottery in the cultural centers of New Philadelphia and Metamorphosis in Athens.
